Love
I cannot breathe
a na no second without
u cuz, i love you, cuz i only dream of u
cuz I can only think of you
cuz you are my only reality, my
only truth. That’s the
truth. But how do i
convince u of it ?
Though i should write it on a
mirror. Tell u, tell me the world
that i have no world
other than u. that u are
my universe, my life, my
reason for existence. That
much i know. Nothing else . . .
Be my life, my world.

Message :
Author loves her honey passionately and
gives all her love to him.

2 : Tale
The Tortoise and the Hare
Once upon a time a tortoise and a hare had
an argument about whowas faster. They decided to settle the argument with a
race. They agreed on a route and started off the race. The hare shot ahead and ran
briskly for some time. Then seeing that he
was far ahead of the tortoise, he thought
he'd sit under a tree for some time and relax before continuing the race. He
sat under the tree and soon fell asleep. The tortoise plodding on overtook him
and soon finished the race, emerging as the undisputed champ. The hare woke up
and realised that he'd lost the race.
Rhetorical devices :
+ Metaphor : the Hare ( the
arrogant person ), the Tortoise ( the humble person ).
+ Simile : slow-fast,
hare-tortoise.
Message :
Be slow and steady.
We are humble and look up on
opponents ( other people ) although we are better than them.

in general, your entries are all good and interesting. However, I think you should consider the following points:
Trả lờiXóa-about the first entry, the name of the author was missed; and the link you supply seems unreliable. in addition, it doesn't use any simile words, so i think it should be metaphor (the importance of the girl_ "my universe, my life, my reason for existence"). its also use rhyme (my-I; you; world), repetition (I, you, only, tell, world, my); parallelism ( my universe, my life, my reason for existence/ tell you, tell me/ cuz i love you- cuz i only dream of u- cuz I can only think of you- cuz you are my only reality, my only truth);and a rhetorical question "how do i convince u of it?"
-the second entry, the way you analyze simile seems unclear. In my opinion, the hare refers to fast speed and the tortoise refers to low speed, which is metaphor.
-the last entry also has unclear source. furthermore, it uses symbol (the symbol of two famous web browsers: Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox); metonymy (the symbol of Internet Explorer- the admins of that web browser; the same for Mozilla Firefox). Besides, i should think "eat-win" is metaphor.
